96-98 cobra as a daily driver?

I am currently looking for a new daily driver car. I was thinking about maybe a 96-98 cobra but I live in Connecticut and winters can be rough... I do have access to a truck for really bad weather, but also, who thinks it would be "wrong" to drive a Cobra all year long?

Re: 96-98 cobra as a daily driver?

heck y not? if you gonna spend money and have to drive something every day, might as well enjoy the drive, right? i used my 04 as a DD for 6 years. although i am glad to have her parked i sure wish i could still use her as my DD. had to get a bigger vehicle for my job but if it weren't for that i'd still be DDing the 04.

I agree with the above comments. Do what you want. I've only had my stang for a few months but I plan on using it as my daily driver all year long. Just make sure you get good tires for the winter.

I DD mine in the winter. My 98GT didn't have traction control but did have the T-Lok it didn't do well.

My 03 Roush with the traction control, a winter set of wheels and all season tires did GREAT. I would even venture to say it did better that my Acura TL that I had last.
