help please?!!!!!

okay heres the story,

my friends and i paint markered a friend of ours then we got a call to take it off and we did except for the stuff on the hood. we couldnt get it off so we tried everything. like soap and water, goo gone, polish, this green eviroment cleaning stuff then moved onto nial polish remover and acetone. now the clearcoat or paint is messed up. i need help because i have to pay if i cant get it fixed!!!! they wanted me to try and buff if out, idk if that will do anything. please help me!!!!!!!!!!! im only 17

Why did yall touch another persons car? I would of been pissed. I dont kno of anything that will take paint marker off except to sand it off and repaint and clearcoat it. Good luck. Im sorry i couldnt help. Hope you can get it off.

it was jus a joke, we all do it to each other but this time it didnt come off and my friends used acetone to get the paint marker off but if damaged the paint or clear coat under it

it looks bad i mean not horrible but noticeable, they want $500 for a deductable and idk if i have to pay for it or not

Paint markers are only for windows. And I think if the paint is messed it's too late to fix

honestly if i was u I wld at least try buffing compound and just hope that works so ur not dropping a few hundred bucks.

None of my friends cleaned it I cleaned everything off they did and I did but apparently the hood marker didn't come off, so my friends had the brilliant idea to use acetone on the paint

Thats what I'm gonna do but if it doesn't idk what's gonna happen, I haven't told my parents yet and I don't plan to. But another thing is, the paint in his car already wasn't good so I'm not payin for that, I'll pay for the damage my "friends" and I have done

if anything i hope you LEARN A LESSON. if someone would touch any of my vehicles with that ****, especially on the paint i would seriously lose it! you'd be paying more than just money to fix my hood, buddy.

I'm not trying to make an excuse for myself but he treeats it like ****. All the paint is destroyed (other than the hood) dash doesn't work, water pump is shot. It's a cool car it's a 86 Nissan 300zx

Well since it is not a mustang it is a little better but still touching somebody elses car is like touching their woman you just don't do it.
