Re: need opinions ASAP!

Girl you need to get that GT for sure! It will be the best decision you make in your mustang owning career (not sure if that made sense?) Great deal for that car too! Looks very clean from the pictures! Make a low offer and meet somewhere around $9150-9250...

You should get $5800 solid of your six with the extras you have. I am sure some punk kid would love it! It will sell quick!

Re: need opinions ASAP!

Sweet...as much as you probably love your v6, and as nice as it looks, it'll never have that v8 sound/feel...you definitely wont regret getting the car.

Hopefully everything turns out for you and you get the car. If you are the least bit concerned about the accident see if you can take the car to a body shop that you are familiar with and trust. Have them look it over where the accident occured.

Generally if the body work was done right and the damage wasn't severe (no frame damage), the body panels should line up and be evenly gapped on both sides.

Cars do flex and twist over time but a good shop along with a solid alignment should put everything back to spec. It takes quite a bit of flexing to twist a car's frame to the point where body panels won't align at all.

Just something to keep in mind...you never know the true history of a car...only insurance claims show up on carfax reports...a quick cash fix will not. People will say a lot and not say a lot to sell anything if they really want to offload it. Not trying to be a downer either, but I've had quite a few people lie their asses off while trying to sell a car.

The GT is a bust. Went drive it again with less excitement. Clutch is smelling burnt and car is jumping pretty hard when shifting and making a clunking noise here and there. I thought it was my bad driving at first but my boyfriend who is no newbie to standards experienced the same thing. Now that it's washed the paint is pretty faded. Not worth the money at all and seller won't go down on price. So the search is on for another GT.

Damn, that sucks. Sorry to hear that. At least you can spend more time on the fox. I say keep the 6 and strap a blower on

Re: need opinions ASAP!

Sorry to hear that...sounds like you fell in love with the car. I had a feeling that something was up with that car...the accident would've scared me away without a doubt.

Don't worry, there are a ton of cars out there right now and you'll find the perfect one. It just takes time...I'm glad to hear you were able to leave that GT and didn't buy something you really weren't comfortable with.

Keep us updated
