Re: Favorite Thing About Your Car Thread

I love all the bells and whistles and of course the 412 hp that makes up the 2011 mustang GT. Now for the deep sappy crap....

I love the history of the mustang and how since the first one has rolled off the line April 17, 1964 and that the mustang is still on the road to this day. Since I had the ability to choose my car I have been buying mustangs. Started with a 2000 V6 to a 2003 GT, to a 2007 GT and now a 2011 GT. The history plays a role into the body style of these cars but the spirit as well. A mustang car show is a bigger history lesson then you could find from any other car show. So overall the spirit of the Mustang is my favorite thing.

As for the four cylinder mustang was in the year I was born not the proudest but a 4 cylinder inline with a turbo generated a whopping 145 hp

My buddies eclipse GSX is turbo with inline 4 cylinder it has 215 HP stock plus it's awd and doesn't get bad gas milage... Might have been the better route in those days. When he pops the clutch no tire spin it just jump forward really fkn fast, then that turbo kicks in we got it going 147 or so.. Just below the 150 mark and it wasn't topped out.

Well it is hard to beat a mustang the 2011 is comparable to a BMW m3 n it's half the price.
