Opinions on 1994 5.0 on craigslist for $2k

Hey guys! I'm looking for another 'Stang for the stable and have had a Fox in mind but I came across this sn95 5.0-liter 5-speed and the more I look at it the more I like it. It's only $2k but has a little front end damage that I can fix. What do you guys think? I texted the guy and it's still available...

I texted him about the front end and he said that it makes a rattling noise when rolling to a stop but that's the only problem. He said he thinks it's just the shifter... Any ideas?

if it was the shifter he wouldnt be hearing it in the front end. to be safe take it to a local shop or mechanic and have it looked at

Ok, AC blows warm air too which is kinda Important in FL but we can fix that.

But it does have CAI and headers and it has 108k miles

Any chance the guy you're buying this from is a tattoo artist? Pics look strangely familiar to me & I know a tattoo artist in Cape Coral who had a 94 stang.

Looks like a deal. As long as the engine isn't too ratted out.

I have no idea! Lol that would be kind of crazy. if I go I'll have to ask him! I really like this one...

I'm also looking at a '91 Fox hatch for $2k and a '70 Mustang grande for the same price. The Fox needs a rebuilt tranny and the '70 has a 351 Cleveland that runs strong. Decisions, decisions! I plan to have a new 'Stang to work on in the next two weeks.

I've been looking around still but I really do like this one... and I can get some AM parts and fix her up some more. We shall see! I'll keep you guys updated on my decision. I am interested in this still although still looking around to see if anything else catches my eye.

I wouldn't do it but that's just me I'm done sinking money into cars that aren't from the 60's or 70's.

If you had to pick one thing about the Fox that has you leaning more toward it, what would it be?

Hmmm he's throwing in an extra set of wheels and tires and a new front bumper.

And more mods

What's the deal with the 70 grande!? Haha I think if it were me personally I would go with a fox or a grande just cuz the 94 is pretty similar to what you already have just it's a 5.0

The grande needs some carb work and some other things but runs and would be an awesome project. I emailed her back and forth a few times over it... I do love classics

if you plan to restore what ever you get to a good state you may come off cheaper to just buy a nicer one to begin with though

I want one that is pretty nice. I want to go check out the fox. It seems to be in pretty decent shape to work on and seems like it would make a nice project. If he still has it by this weekend I want to go check it out... If not I'll keep looking.

Make sure it has a clean title, salvage titled cars are not worth the hassle.
