I loved my revo and tmaxx but they broke so easy sometimes. I put a punishing on my buggy and it holds up much better than my tmaxx ever could

If your wanting to get into them id recommend a mini brushless summit, revo, or mustang. You could get a used one or new one off ebay or craigslist. I've got a mini revo. And a emaxx. There both waterproof. I used to have a nitro revo 3.3 it was a freaking beast I sold it though.

Brushed electric motors have brushes and are slower and less.efficient. The brushless motors are efficient and fast. Look at it like this brushless would be supercharged brushed motor not.

Yours is a nitro model. The brushed and.brushless motors apply to the electric models.

Yeh a locker to make the two rear tires turn together like on a mustang. If u undo the front like you said. I think there's a adjustment on the transmission where you can make it accelerate faster or have higher top end speed. You can also get different gears to make it accelerate faster or higher speed.

The buggy Truggy and the 4x4 trucks that I race with we can fill the front rear and center diff with different oil weights to achieve different actions. So if u want to lock up the rear I but a really heavy oil in it but I'm not sure the 4-Tec can do the same with the diff.... I had a buddy that had a 4-Tec with a 3.3 in it and I races him with my electric buggy and won. he was so mad he sold it and bought a buggy.. The brushless motors that I and everyone races with are capable if making like 2.5 to 3.5 horse power

Starter box is another name... Is just a metal box that has a battery and a rubber wheel in it. u push down on your car that sitting on the box. the rubber wheel starts to spin and the flywheel gets pushed against the wheel spinning the engine over
