Magnaflow vs Borla vs SLP Loudmouth vs Flowmasters vs Pypes

Let me start by saying that I probably don't know what I'm talkin about but what do you prefer? I've been listening to exhaust videos (I'm bored) videos on YouTube and I like Loudmouth exhaust for some reason, and Borla definitely. Magnaflow and Flowmasters just seem soooo common though. Idk much about Pypes though ! But what is a good setup that you could recommend to a soon-to-be Mustang owner ? Something LOUD but not ridiculous...well actually more on the ridiculous side as oppose to the average side lol.

Mine just has the stock exhaust on it the only way I will get a new exshaust is if somepone donates one, It is strang to me when I bought this car it had a supercharger ,eibach rear springs, upgraded fuel system and a lot of other stuff but who ever had it and put all those things on it kept the stock exshaust I don't understand why all those mods and stock exshaust.

I've had slp loudmouths on my 2010 gt for over 6 months now and love them! I drive about a 140 mile round trip drive everytime I commute back and forth to school and still enjoy them everytime I hear them. They are pretty loud but not annoyingly loud I was looking into making it louder by changing the rest of the exhaust???

Hi got corsa extremes on my 05 GT, not to loud when taking it easy but roar when u open it up! Also no drone compared to the slp loudmouths and boomtubes that I've tried before. Costs bit more but worth it. Also the finish is excellent not like the boomtubes dull cheap steel.

H Pipes are soooooooo much better the sound is deeper vs. X pipes raspy sound.
When i start my exhaust the first thing im doing is getting h pipes.

My favorite, straight through style, sounding exhaust is Bassani

If u got a v6 and are only lookig to put one muffler on, don't put a flownaster on. You need dual flownaster that sounds sick. The one I have now isn't really that deep. It sounds good at like 1500 Rpms but they all sound good

If your looking for a deep sound Borla is the only way to get it on a SN197. Your Bassani's make more of a sport car sound than a deep sound and adding in a X-pipe is going to amp that sound up and add in rasp. Its very tricky to get a deep sound on a SN197 you have to combine several diffrant parts to get it. I run a X-pipe with high flow cats and Borla stingers and it makes a nice deep sound. You could also run resanators instead of cats to get the same effect.

Click on this link and watch the video and you can hear the diffrance. My car pretty muchs sound like his at the end. http://mustangforums.com/forum/2005-...-w-pics-3.html

I got pipes long tube headers connected to QuickTime cutouts then to x pipe then to flowmaster NASCAR mufflers. Mufflers mounted almost directly under front seats.

Open headers. Awesome. Even with cutouts closed it's very loud.

I had flowmasters on a 90 gt, magna flow on a 95 gt, bassani on a 2000 gt, and borla on 2011 gt. Borla is best by a long shot. When I step on it it sounds like God Yelling!!

Yes it will. Without cats or resonators on a X-pipe your going to get a lot of rasp
