What 'Stang would you reccommend for a $3000 budget

I know it's low but I'm broke !

I'm definately into Foxbody Notchbacks, and recently I have starting looking into early 2000 Mustangs like 2004. I wish I could find a '04 for around my budget, I just love the modern Mustangs taillights...

you probley wont be able to buy a 2004 under that budge but you can get a 99 or 00 for that, i got mine for way less than that, you might get an 01 if your into the slightley updated interior and tinted headlights but id deffinatley recomend the 99-04 generation but thats more my style. do what you want, like if you into the engine you most likely wont find a v8 in a 99-04 for under 3,000

You can probably find a 94-98 v8 in rough shape for around 3k, a 99-02 v6 in fair shape, or an older fox body...It really depends, I believe another member Montecitan picked up his new edge GT for 4k, and it only need a couple minor things.

I see 94-98 gts for 3500. So you could probably haggle down to close to 3000.

Honestly, you can find a 94-98 Gt for 3G's it might have minor problems like I found mine (96 Gt) at 97,000 miles for 4g's. And it had about 3000$ in mods. Had a few niks and dents and the leather front seats weren't taken care of but the engine was babyd and clean.

Yah honestly most cars that are 17 years old can be expected to have some minor dings and imperfections...as long as the mechanical/electrical aspect of things is solid, I'd say you could work body scuffs or something easily repairable.

I picked up my 92 for 1500.
All depends on your patience.waited over a year for the price to go down from 3800
Well worth the wait I might add

Exactly, it took me 4-6 months to find a decent priced one.

Personally I'd get the fox body, for that price you can find a decent one and put some work into it and then eventually later get the 04.
