1999 Mustang ! Help me out :)

I figure spend this 'lil 15 or so then buy a new gasket and fix the light. BUT can you give an estimate for those two things. I will definately get it painted and get those dings out. This will be my first car though so would you recommend this.

Plus the sound system is a plus. I think its a good buy, but I just want to know if it would wise. I cant afford to buy a car then next 2 weeks I dont have a working one.

How much is he looking to get? How much are you looking to spend, don't worry about a sound system, worry about mechanical issues. Have it checked by a mechanic. How many miles are on it. Head gaskets are a heavy job and can get pricey in labor charges.

Doesn't look like it's worth more than a grand to me, looks like a super project car. Not worth the head ache for a first car. You can find something way better.

Yea head gasket is alot of work. If you know how to work on it then its cheap. But if you take it somewhere it will be pretty pricey. I woul call a mechanic and ask around how much they charge to do the job.

+1 to this. Too much work. You can probably spend a little more and find something running. Car wont run with a bad head gasket.

the 99-04 3.8L engines are good engines, easy to work on and easy to fix just make sure its been kept up good (regular upkeep is done fluids changed) and you get it checked out to ensure no one that had no idea what they were doing had at it to fix crap etc

+1. Head gaskets are a bigger pain in the butt than you think. You can definitely find a running one for a reasonable price.
