Why you selling it. I don't know much about these but I'd say 6-7 maybe 8 grand I'd pay if I was looking into one.

Thinking of a 88-93 5.0 and I can get a built 351 from my dads friends. The cope brothers out of midland washington. I talked to them and they don't work on the 4.6l. They referred me to an ole friend of there's to find out what he can do to it. But id rather build a 5.0

Auto? Nvm don't want it anymore sorry lol
But I'd say 7500 is a low price. Say like 9500 and ppl will be like "how bout 8k?" so you always highball it

Its very nice ride but i dought you will get 8 grand for it. I only payed 3 for mine with 120xxx miles. But it was that cheap cuz i had to replace the timing chain i did it myself so maybe 3500 total for my car and it had a tuner and exhaust already.

Re: whats a good price for my 98 gt?

Aftermarket parts don't really up the value I would never give more than 4,000 for it. It's a nice looking car but 8,000 is way to high.

I got my car for 4.5 grand at 97k miles with almost every bolt on. I could resell it for 6g's. Mods don't add value, it's all sentimental.

Re: whats a good price for my 98 gt?

I traded my 98GT in with 120K on it, it was a 5 speed but had the leaking intake problem and got 5K on trade in, in 2007...

Re: whats a good price for my 98 gt?

Dude listen to me alright try to sell it for 3500 bucks maybe 4 then go out and buy a 93 fox gt convertible and go to my profile and make it look like mine dude foxes are way better cause there way lighter than those models and with the torque it has its hella fun so ya and save up so u can swap out the 5.0 for a new 2011 5.0 hahaha expensive as hell for that motor and tranny though!!!! take a look at the pics i got

Well if you want to sell it to get a fox body, have you considered just trading someone that already has one and maybe getting like an extra $1,500-$2,000 on top of the trade? If I had a fox body I would trade it for your car right away.

Based on what you posted about the car.. I doubt I'd go over $4k. If even that. But in reality, I am not particularly impressed by those models, typically. So I may be a little biased. Lol. just saying, my '02 GT with 98k miles and running absolutely perfect, I bought for $7300, and I felt that even that price was kinda high for my liking. Lol but it's all about finding that one buyer that wants it and might shell out $5-$6k. Who knows?!
