I'm going to go with the Mustang. In '84 the 'vettes had a crossfire 350, that was only rated at 200 horse. His car is going to be lighter, but I doubt that it'll make up for it. Not to mention, it's 27 years old...

'81-'84 were some of my favorite body styles for older corvettes but their performance was very lack luster.. I say with comparable drivers, the stang gets this one.

'81 and '82 were third generation 'vettes. The really curvy body style. There was no '83 'vette (well, there is one, but it's in the museum). '84 was the first year for the fourth generation. They're the really flat model that they built until '96.

Mustang easy, the 84 vette's really lacked the power. My foxbody had no problem pulling an 85.

If you're a 5spd and can shift it I'd say you'd have him...keep in mind this is all speculation and simulation on a drag strip

Well I'd say on a track you'd have the faster E.T. Plus your car looks and sound way better than that gen. vette imo.

Re: 02 mustang gt vs 84 Corvette both stock

I'd say the Mustang should have it no problem with a good driver.
