Rims, lower it, exhaust, tint.... Start with the basics.

Nice. Exhaust - Mac in my opinion and get a cold air intake and a tune. Also some blacked out headlights, taillights and fogs would be nice.

Why not? I would tune a stock one just to improve it. As long I didn't plan on adding big stuff to it

Because tunes aren't cheap. Why waist the money on something that big when it's still not necessary.

Re: new 01 gt

Yah really depends on what you want to do...cosmetic vs performance, or both.

Bolt ons like exhaust, CAI, underdrive pullies, short throw shifter, gears and a tune are most common the 99-04's.

Wheels, tints, lowering and Mach 1 exterior pieces are the popular cosmetic add ons.

A Mach 1 3 piece grille delete would be a good choice for yours since that stock honeycomb around the corral looks pretty faded.

The 2 piece is ~$70, but looks bad without that 3rd backing panel...so expect to pay ~$100 for the 3 piece kit but it's definitely worth the money...completely changes the appearance of the front of the car.
