I got a blingy fossil watch I wear when I'm on the line so I know when not to freak out when the line stops moving (break time). But an expensive watch? I'd rather make a couple car payments or pay for my brother's college.

I know this is a thread revival, but this is a prefect thread for a watch junkie like myself. Here's my newest acquisition.

I wear a cheap $15.00 watch I bought when on a cruise a few years back. I've beat the tar out of that watch, and it still works.

Rolex? No. If I could afford one, I'd rather spend the money on another purchase of a Mustang.

To each his own, but this is a watch pic with your stang thread. Not an "I'd rather buy something else" thread.

So post a pic of that $15 workhorse with your stang!

I just picked this up recently, it's a Nixon Sentry SS. It's some sort of Star Wars edition they came out with.

It's also an old, resurrected thread.

...and you'd be one of the first people to say use the search rather than make a new thread. So it's kind of a double edged sword. Not sure why you keep trying to pooh pooh this thread.

If it doesn't interest you, which you made apparent in the first comment you made, then why comment on it at all??

If you don't like it then you don't have to be a part of it.

Cheers.

It's kind of a combo of both. I don't have a huge wrist, and the new Submariners have wider lugs so they wear bigger. The actual size of the watch is 40mm.

The previous generation of Submariners were also 40mm but had narrower lugs so it wore smaller.

Yup. I mean, I wouldn't take it swimming, but washing hands and stuff won't hurt it. There's people on YouTube who have tested them in the shower and sink and they still work.

I'm too much of a dope. I'd definitely accidentally jump into a pool or hot tub wearing one.

I can't tell you the amount of cellphones I've ruined by having one in my pocket and taking a dip in the ocean/pool/hot tub.
