Real or clone ??? You decide

This is a 2005 windveil blue mustang . Is it real Saleen or a clone. Tell me what you think.
Here are some tips to help you decide...
1. The wheels have the name saleen casted on the inside.
2. The exhaust has saleen embossed on the tips and stamped on the mufflers.
3. The springs have racecraft printed on the and printed on the struts say N2
4. There is a bumper number on the driver side.
5. The side skirts are 1/8 to 1/4 too long.
6. The rear lic. Plate flips down

I know the cars true idenity I'm doing this little poll/project because the car gets compliments every where it goes and the other day some guy state it was fake and then another guy agreed but funny thing was neither person knew why they thought it was fake they said it just was.

Please Post what you think?

From the pics it looks real to me. If its a clone you did one hell of a job to make it look like a real saleen. Aslong as all the numbers match up. But looks really good to me.

There were 171 total saleen convertibles made in 2005. Vert saleen are very popular and sought after

Cannot determine an answer from the information given. There is nothing on that car that cannot be purchased and installed by an individual.

It's hard to tell from the pics! You did good job of making it look close to the real thing though.

Drum roll please!!!

---------- Post added at 09:19 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:57 PM ----------

It's a clone!!!
However it's exact replica Bumper# 006 (non production number)
Every piece was ordered from saleen
With the exception of the supercharger which was bought used but entirely complete
There was nothing spared
Don't ask how much because it makes me. Want to kick my self in the @$$
The body panels were painted 3 times by me and the whole conversion was done by me .
You know why saleen charges so much? Because the body kit is the biggest pain to work and install. This little project has seriously over 62 man hours in it.

Why you build a fake you ask ? Well here's the kicker. Hold on people here's where the thread might go astray and get bumpy.
My wife wanted a car she could drive and liked the set challenger and the saleen but since she just recently got a new tahoe she wasn't getting another 50g vehicle
For a super price We found this 2005 70,000 mile V6 mustang that's right V6 now before y'all break out the torches and pitchforks notice I state I bought the supercharger . That S/C will be going on the 4.6 ford mod V8 sitting on my motorstand along with the big rear dif.
So what do y'all think of me . Poser? I hope not

Yea they where very rare . It was hard to find pictures of that exact color to use for reference. Also I had to paint 3 times because there was 6 different variances of that color ( I. E darker flop , light metallic, medium metallic etc. ) A guy in the area has a real non s/c saleen hard top for sale cheap and it's sweet.
