Trunk release on 07 GT

I've had car for almost a month now and finally took the time to find a trunk release switch. Wow, can't believe there is none. I saw an older thread of installing a release switch in the glove box. Is it really that easy?

seems pretty easy, and yup very odd there isnt one lol... not that you really need it that much with it being on your key fob (but I dont believe you can pop it while the car is running)

I guess I'm just used to having a button on the car. In my search I did find a fuel reset button. Had to look that one up in the owners manual. Cool. I think a trunk release button is first on my agenda.
