Very nice...I'll be cruising down to Milwaukee along with my buddy and his 01 GT next weekend for the holiday...supposed to be beautiful weather.

Re: Where are you taking the stang this weekend

Had a nice weekend. Went down to Grand Rapids Mi, to the 28th ST Metro Cruise and seen many Mustangs, talk to some very nice people and seen some great cars, something for everyone. Sad that summer is ending but will give me time to save money for the mod's I want for next spring.

My 87 was like that when I first got, and I tried many of the same things you named. In the end a buddy came through with an intake and carb.. And BAM! Fired right up! Never bothered to figure out what was wrong. Scraped the FI intake and moved on..

Honestly a buddy did most of the work. He was trying to buy the car(he's a 20+ year friend). Seemed pretty straight forward. The first fuel pump we used ended up being junk, but we used a toggle to power it, and used the stock pump as a straw. They make pick up tubes(Ty Trojan) just for that. He did tap into some wires under hood though..
