Front bumper and hood repair

Ok guys... I've had this car for too long without doing something to it... My 98 v6 vert is calling to me... But first I wanna fix what's wrong with it... My hood has several dents in it and my front bumper now has a big *** bubble in the paint dead center... How much do you guys think it would cost to get the dents in the hood fixed and maybe repainted... And the front bumper repainted...

I will post pics when I get home

Re: Front bumper and hood repair

guess prices vary depending where you go. i had gotten a quote recently to paint the front bumper of my 04 and it was right around $350. not sure on the dent repair...

also, color affects cost as well. some colors are more expensive than others. to get a real estimate you would have to take it to a shop.

Damn... That's a bit more than I really want to or can pay right now for it...

Go to the bookstore and pick up some books on bodywork and painting.
No time like the present to learn some new skills.

very good advice! a few years ago i picked up a 'mini-truck' as a project. with hundreds of dents and about 20 different colors on it. learned how to use bondo and kitty-hair fiberglass quickly. real easy to learn. and i actually really enjoyed doing it. i didn't do the painting, but i hear thats not too hard to learn either. just takes some practice.

it would def. be a fun project and something to really be proud of saying you did yourself
