Why don't they bring this to the US??? It's such a nice car and would probably do great in sales. It would be a direct competitor to the charger...

Re: Australian falcon xr8

They probabaly can't be sold in the usa because they don't pass american smog standards and it would be too much compitition for the american car makers.

How much would it cost to import one? Other then the cost of actually shipping it over here? Live DMV stuff

It's a perfect. It would blow Honda out of the water. Its not as big as the Taurus, yet not as small as the Fusion. I guess they feel too many people have bought Fusions and Taurus'. Then you would have to figure out how to make it a Lincoln.its more fuel efficient than the Taurus.

Probably pretty expensive, aside from the actual cost of the car. I know that people who have motorcycles imported usually bring them in through California, and have them titled there because once they been through inspection there it's much easier to transfer them to another state. As far as how much, it will probably vary alot depending on who brings it in the country for you.

the problem is i dont think theyre safety certified for the US. i think that with the GTR skylines that was the problem and why they were so hard to ship. also the one guy i know that has a GTR skyline got his through a company in Florida as a kit car. although apparently feds have raided some ppl to reseize the cars. the whole things with skylines is very messy. im not sure if itll be the same with other cars.

Ppl bring in Honda half's all the time. If you buy a jap Honda motor they ship you the whole from half of the car. Ship it pieces and build it.. Jkn

Really though, on google look up the car at
A dealer site over there and email them an
Inquiry about getting one over here. If anyone could help you it will be them or whom ever you know that can ship it.

For a decent one with low mileage 2008 model you are looking around 25-30k Australian dollars
