Lowering springs - Mustang Evolution

Lowering springs

I was lookin to lowering my mustang and am lookin to buy a set of springs, But heard u can cut ur stock springs n lower it that way, r there any cons to that method?? I'm new to tha forum, thanx for ur help

you could cut them or heat them up to lower it but not a good idea imo...one could be shorter or taller then the others, then it would all be jacked up, u could ruin one of them by doing it wrong or something THEN u would have to buy some, i would jus buy a set to be safe. do u know some of the better stang sites??

yea thats wat i figured, ive looked at american muscle, but thats about it. any suggestions??

never EVER heat a sprint it ruins its rate, cutting is ok and generally wont alter the spring rate if the spring is a linear spring (not progressive)

I would look into the eibach prokit or super sports.
