First Post : Introducing Eleanor *Heavy Pic Content*

I finally decided to join a forum and post some photos of mine and my dad's Eleanor Project. We hit a milestone last week as she finally was painted. We've been doing body work on her for quite some time now. Let me know what you guys think!
*note* She is ONLY a shell.

I cannot wait to see updates as this project develops. Until I have the disposable cash for my own project, I will be stuck living vicariously through you.... subscribed

Fantastic!
That's my all time favorite Mustang.
That and a twin TC 427 with a 6 speed would put me in Mustang owner's heaven.

P.S. Do you think your dad would be interested in adopting an "older" son?

You need to stop savoring the moment and get back to work... We all want to see it completed!! Seriously it looks awesome... What a great project for a father and a son... The best is yet to come when you and your Dad are flogging that bad boy on the streets.. Good luck.. Can't wait to see the finished project.

yeah, I agree. I can't wait to see this thing on the streets. hopefully soon. we'll probably put in the lights and grime and whatnot just to be sure everything fits alright. I'll be sure to post as this project comes along.

as for the motor, we're looking' to pull a motor/tranny/wiring harness out of a wrecked newer cobra or Saleen and dumping it in there. just depending on what we can find. that is what we'll have in it and slowly beef it up more and more over time.

Sounds good. Looks like your a ways from that, maybe plans will change as far as motors go.. I'd say a 351w- stroked to 427.. Blower, turbo..

---------- Post added at 07:56 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:55 PM ----------

And you can get that as a crate motor..

The one I saw(a while back) was complete oil pan to carb was in an old Shelby cobra in a Hot Rod mag was 13k lol but every bit of it was polished to a show finish.. Heads intake carb etc. Kinda high but sick 645rwhp all motor

I'd go with a real 427 from the era and leave it all motor...but I'm kind of old fashioned when it comes to classics....

I can side with that also.. Not a huge fan of big blocks. But if you threw the same 13k @ a big block you'd have a equally impressive power plant. I can see it either way really!
