Hood scoop issues?

So I know lots of you guys have hood scoops.. The plastic ones, I ordered one from AM and put it on this summer.. Drilled the dwam holes on my hood... Not The biggest deal ever eventually I'd like a cowl hood anyways. But still let me just follow the directions and drill holes in my hood. The effin thing warped.. That's right it warped now not only does it look obviously plastic and not attached to hood but it now is shaped absolutely stupidly.. Anyone else had an issue like this??
Understandably American Muscle won't replace it because ordered it last spring.. But in the same breath.. The directions say to drill holes in my hood.. what do I do now.. Take it off and have holes in the hood? It's a piece of plastic.. Can I have another one please?!

The holes are prob not spot on drilled, I the studs aren't going perfectly into the holes it can stress and warp the scoop, I've put a **** load of scoops on, this is how I correct the problem, lay the scoop into the holes, then look at where the studs want to go, with a slightly bigger bit or if using the same bit, apply light pressure in the direction that the studs want to go, you will prob have to do this to more than one hole, get the holes routed out to were the scoop sit freely in the holes with no stress, and don't over tighten the nuts, this too will sometimes warp plastic scoops, well hope this helps, it always works for me.
