Where r places that can port them? Places like Mopar do work on SCs?

---------- Post added at 10:32 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:28 PM ----------

And what determines the stage of the port?

Stiegemeier Does porting. And check out leathalperformance.com. And what dermines it is how much they machine/port the blower. Changes the opening/shape on the bottom of the supercharger. Rages from stage1-5.

Re: 2011 GT/2007 Roush 427R/Shelby GT

the GT500 will give you the best ability to upgrade by FAR compared to the Roush or Shelby GT etc, the choice should be that easy. Once you want more power... the GT500 is the only one that can really deliver it.

Re: 2011 GT/2007 Roush 427R/Shelby GT

I wouldnt care how rare it was or is. The point is get the one you want and make it your own. I know there are a ton of black on black 5.0s out there but this one is mine and I enjoy the hell out of it. Besides,Im not trying to impress anyone but myself, lol.

Re: 2011 GT/2007 Roush 427R/Shelby GT

Buy the 5.0. The 2007 Roush 427 still has the 4.6. With the 5.0 you can make more then it does already with just a tune. Not to mention if your as to put a blower on it and run even the same boost you would be making 100 more HP.

Plain simple the Roush's are over priced and under performed. Show me a stock 427 Roush or even a new Roush that has went 12.2 bone stock as the 5.0 has done. That is stock tires and all. Hell a 5.0 with tune and tires has went 11's multiple times.

I like the 5.0s no doubt. The power they make is sick, the interiors eh, what you can do to the exterior two thumbs up. But the exterior of a Roush is also customizable but who would wanna change the body on one? I have a guy who can do custom
Leather cheap(family friend) but I'd need to find another way to make the 5.0 interior stand a chance against the Roush.
And the plus for the Roush is I can buy it same price as a 5.0 and it comes with a blower. Making payments on a 5.0 I wouldn't have enough for a blower for a few years. I only put 7-10k miles on my car a year, which isn't bad my current car is a 2003(early 03) and has 88k on it. And 80k was put on by my dad. It's a tough choice. I'm gonna have to test drive both and weigh my options and plan my spending on the cars.

---------- Post added at 08:56 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:55 PM ----------

And I want the race red, or grabber blue.

Really it depends on the price I can talk the dealer to. Both this Roush(4,100miles) and a new GT are 30k

Either way I'm getting a new car that will be a daily driver. But I only drive 20-30miles a day school/work. Both close to home. But I need to know how to protect the paint the best way, I already plan on washing my car 1 a week and wax every 2 weeks. What type of wax would you recommend and anything else?
