Threw a rod. Now What?

It flooded yesterday. Water got in my intake and my motor got dead. So now that I am replacing the V6. What should I replace it with?

Here is what I have already:
2000 V6
Duel Exhaust.
Electric Fan
Full Length Frame Rails
Bullitt Suspension
Rear Strut Tower Brace
All Polythylene grommets etc
T-5 Trans

I was told I could get pretty much anything and put it in there. I have about 5k to spend.

4V swap. Check into Mark VIII's for their motor
