big question

Hey peeps just a quick question I have a 86 coupe with a 7.5 rear end I bought a 8.8 diferential out of a 91 mustang. I heard from someone that . The 91 diferential might be to big just wanna know if this is true. I thought all foxbody diferentials were the same in lenght. Any advice b4 I install it?

They are the same size as far a mounting goes. Will bolt right in no problems.

My thing is if it's the same length axle to axle as the 7.5

Yes, they are the same length.

I did this exact swap in my 83 GT I used to have. Took a friend and I a little less than 2 hours to swap from jacking it up to test drive.

Length is exactly the same. Mounting points for shocks and control arms are exactly the same.

While ur at it. I would replace the upper control arm bushings an the lower control arms. Jut a thought.
