Have had both. I like the Mac mufflers I have now, but I have a push rod 5.0 though

YouTube it. Friend and I at work have been looking at exhaust videos. There was a vid and the guy had 10 series on and it sounded way louder than the 40's we had been watching.

I've got 40's and I love them. Some people bellyache about drone or whatever. But I want to hear my car.

they are both chambered mufflers,so yes they are similar.but the difference is 40 series have 2 chambers and 10 series have 1 chamber.

Re: Flowmaster ?

I had Flow 40's on both my 94 and my 02. IMO the Flow 10's are louder and I find a bit raspy. But still sound good. If you want loud 10's IMO are definately louder!
