Rain guards on 2010 Mustang

Does anyone know if you can put rain guards on the drivers and passenger windows of a 2010 Mustang?

Sure, why not? Im debating between leaving them as is, painting them body color or black. Anyone around here have pics of painted rain guards?

I wasn't sure if the window would hit it when you opened the door. I know the window opens a little when I open the door, but wasn't sure if that was enough to clear a rain guard.

I think so. But im not sure. I live in Illinois and the window tinting laws dont allow for very dark tinting at all. So i am trying to find ways to make them look darker. Such as a tint across the top third of the windshield. Does anyone have any other ideas?

Re: Rain guards on 2010 Mustang

Yeah they stick on above the window so no issues with movement. Depends on the vehicle as to whether it looks good or not so check out the different brands to see which works best with your car. Dont see em on Mustangs too often but I think it'll work. Im planning a gloss black on grabber blue color scheme but I dont want to go crazy with the black, so was thinking to paint it and the side window louvers both body color, so they blend in better. As long as I can get them to look good, though, I want them because I tend to leave my windows cracked when driving in rain to cut down on fogging and sometimes just to air it out a little. Any rain can eventually wear down the finish on your door, your seatbelt and get the carpet wet even with liners because it seeps down the edge.
