Re: Props for your stang!

All the time I get, "I don't like Mustangs but man.....I love your car"

That makes me feel good because I know fellow Mustangs owners appreciate it but when Mustang haters compliment it,it makes me think I'm helping the cause for the blue oval team.

I was stuck at a light behind some guy in a truck. He got out and was definitely drunk! He walked up to my car and told me how f***ing nice it was then got back in his truck and left. I thought he was going to start something so I wasn't prepared for what he said at all.. Very weird...

Lol would have been funny if he walked into his car hahahaha

I had a guy in a camaro give me a thumbs up driving the opposite direction on a highway.

Now that I think about it, I get a lot of compliments and stares. I always love the attention! Which is why I got grabber! I've had plenty of people while on the highway just stare at my car while driving by not even looking where they're going.

Yeah, it's definitely a color that gets a lot of attention. Had a screaming yellow before this but I get much more attention with the grabber. Love it!

Re: Props for your stang!

I get stares ALL THE TIME!! Probably the funniest one I ever got was one time when I was downtown there was a homeless guy walking across the street right in front of me at a red light. He stops and stares at me kinda mean mugging. While he's doing this the light turns green. Then he slowly pulls up three finger, then makes and O, then two more fingers... 302 lol. I nodded he gave me a thumbs as he walked away.

I was at work one day, and I watched as a guy driving a mustang pulls in off the hwy, parks next to my car. He gets out walks around my car, looks inside, then walks around it again. Then he came in the store asked if the mustang belonged to one of us when I said it was mine he said that is a bad *** car. Then he turned around walked back to his mustang and continued down the highway. I never expected that.

Lol my favorite one was when I first got my car. I was parked outside of a store waiting for my girlfriend when a little kid passes by and says to his mom "look mom I want a car just like that". Made me feel all warm inside lol

Re: Props for your stang!

My club was participating in the Veteran's Day parade, and many times I heard little kids point at my car and say, "Look, its Bumble Bee." Then another kid said the same thing and his brother, who looked like he was maybe 6, stood up and said,"Don't you know anything? Bumble Bee is a Camaro, THAT is a Mustang. I want that Mustang!"

Had an old guy and his wife pull up to me at a stop light in a 2005 Silverado and waved to get my attention(had widows down but radio loud) and I turned it down and he said, "Wanna trade?!" I said, "Nah, I'm good." and he said, "I'd be damn good if I drove that thing too!" haha.

This happened last night. I pulled into the gas station by my house and a guy gets out of his vette and comes over to tell me that he lives my car and as he is talking some other guy comes out if the shop, walks over and starts asking a bunch of questions about it and I actually had to get in my car to be able to leave. It feels weird but awesome to have people do that. Funny thing was, second guy left in a big tractor.

Re: Props for your stang!

A guy driving a Ford GT gets out of it runs over me as I'm starting to pull off and stops me and said, "I just have to tell you, that's the nicest mustang I've ever seen" and then shook my hand. I later found out that he also owns a Ferrari and a Lamborghini too. I also get told a lot by die hard chev fans that they hate Fords but love my car. Even had some Vett owners who told me, "if you ever want to sell that car give me a call"

Re: Props for your stang!

A couple of years ago, I had driven my black Roush to Stockton, California, to visit some relatives. I went to a store to pick up some "adult beverages" and I noticed that I was being followed. When I got to the store, the car pulled in next to mine, a BMW, and the driver approached me. He was an older gent, probably in his late 60's. He said, "That is the most beautiful car my wife and I have ever seen. How much would you take for it?" I laughed out loud and he seemed insulted. Then he said, "Seriously, name your price. I'm good for it. It would make my wife very happy to have that car." Then I noticed the blonde, 20-something "wife"...... I did not sell. Probably should have, now that I think about it.

Compliments are random and often.

I get this more than anything:

"Is that a V8?"
