I was driving yesterday and was able to hit 200km/h. I thought the 2011 v6s had a speed limiter at 180km/h. Is that only in the US? If not at what speed is it limited to in Canada?

You have a tune? I believe stock is around 180-190km/h but I know some tunes increase that. I think bama raises it to 200.

I don't have any tunes, I got her brand new. Are you saying it could be a factory tune?

Re: Limiter

Do you have larger wheels? Or have you added gears? The speedo is simply not 100% accurate at high speeds.

Re: Limiter

If you have a smart phone, download a speedo GPS app. They work pretty well if you are in an area that has a strong signal. My speedo was off and after calculating my tire size, was able to adjust it correctly with my tuner, the app really helped. It was dead on in my wife's 2011 explorer and after adjustments, in my mustang also. It's a good way to check your speed by yourself.

The app works great at steady speeds but jumps from like 55-41 etc if you touch the brakes lol. Other then that i use it daily my speed sensors bad.
