RS-3 tire Qs

Was doing some research on tires with an eye on RS-3s and ran across this. Didnt see it posted elsewhere. I think Im sold on the summers but not sure about the A/Ss in snow. Opinions?

Product Review: Cooper Zeon RS3-S and RS3-A Tires - A Review of Cooper Zeon RS3-S and RS3-A Tires

Also, Ive got 18x9s but am not sure which size is best for a 13 GT. Im thinking 275s in the rear, but there are two choices: 275/35s & 275/40s. The 40s are about 3# heavier each, so 12# heavier overall and I prefer lower profile but is there a gain with a 40 AR over 35? And any reason to get different sizes for summer/winter?

And do I want 275s up front too? If not, why? Here is what is available:

225/40R1892YXL
225/45R1895WXL
235/40R1895YXL
235/50R1897W
245/40R1897YXL
245/45R1896Y
255/35R1890Y
255/40R1899YXL
275/35R1899YXL
275/40R1899Y

Is the vehicle a daily driver? will you be driving it through the winter? The RS3-A has a 30k mileage warranty and is great in dry and wet, but honestly I don't feel like there is enough siping to be great in snow. If you are looking for the ultimate grip, it is not a daily driver, and/or not a winter vehicle, go with the RS3-S. These are definitely some of the stickiest street tires out there. and I would go with the 40's over the 35's, I am running 275/35 and I worry constantly about a decent pothole being enough to ruin a tire/wheel, and I don't feel like they fill the wheel well good enough.

Yeah, sorry, meant to say its a DD, winter included, that will see some track time. So youre running 275/35s front/back? Kinda figured that regarding the RS3-As, but maybe Ill stick with 'em & just park her in snow. Was curious about profile too so good info, thanks.
