HIDs and housing question

In some of my old cars, whenever you upgraded to HIDs you NEEDED to upgrade to a projector housing because the reflector housings would scatter light and it would have less focus. Also blinding oncoming drivers.

So, on an 06 GT, would it be best to switch to projectors before buying HIDs for a more controlled light beam?

Honestly on my 95s 98 and 2000 there was no big difference. Buy the hid kit plug it up and see what you think. Remember not to have your brights on at first.

Yes, it would be better to upgrade to the proper housing.
