Ford's Launch Engineers

Had an interesting conversation with some Ford launch engineers today!!

After leaving a restaurant this morning, I walked out to my car to see 2 guys very close to it checking out my wheels. I struck up a little conversation with them. They told me they worked for Ford in Dearborn, MI and that they had a part in the launch of new vehicles. I told them that I was trading up to the '15 when it comes out, they told me that it would be early summer of 2014 and that it looks bad@$$. I tried to ask more about it but they said they coudln't divulge any information.

Then one of them told me that he got to drive one of the new '13 GT500's and that it's so powerful you are pretty much riding on the traction control. Obviously a 285 tire isn't enough to tame the beast.

They were short of time and had to keep going so I couldn't pick their brains for too long. Anyways, I know this isn't anything mind blowing but I still thought that I could share.

If the 2013 GT500 is this powerfull I can only imagine what the 2015 will be like.
