Yeah, I could see if it was a typo and he meant 280. But most likely he's just an idiot. It's fun to call people up and ask them about mods then ask how they figure their power claim and just listen to them squirm.

Haha. Sounds fun. And I think he is just trying to slip it past someone who knows nothing because he has it something like this. "PUTS OUT 380HP!!!!!!!!" I don't think those are his exact words but it's something to that affect.

I installed a JLT oil separator. Doubt it's really necessary for the stock V6 (for now, at least), but since I plan on keeping this thing forever, long term it's probably worth it.

Nah dont be scared... Worst thing u can do is put them crooked and you can just peel them off.. Its $100 for the stripes or $600+ to have them painted .. I think even if it takes 3 times you will still be better off. I can make a vid if you need

I may try doing my own stripes... Just a lot of money to toss away if you can't do it right.

Monkey, how hard are '13 stripes to put on? I think were easier than the '10-12 because we lack the power dome.

Finally got the HID kit with the correct color bulbs installed in the fog lights! Now they match the color of the stock HIDs perfectly. I'm a happy camper

Not hard bro.. And yea its easier in a few areas that are smoother on the 13. Like i told miss cheeta (lol) its better to try a few times then to have a shop paint them and you end up not liking the look.

Negative on the hard part.. Vinyl and decal shops do it on a daily basis for even harder custom stickers .. I've seen this guys do it w/o water just straight up vinyl. That's why it will run you more $$

Very true. The guy who had my car before me painted the worst looking ugly silver stripes on mine. So they are now covered with vinyl and I can never not have stripes now.
