Thanks. The fuel door started pitting. Looks like it had been repainted before. Maybe got scratched or something. And around the edge, was pitting pretty bad

I love it. It's gloss black just like the stripe down the center of my car and the spoiler. Matched perfect. Ties all together

Got her cleaned up. Also brakes are pulsing so I guess it's time for new rotors all around. Going to get my coolant flushed when I get safety and emissions done next week. And I need to change my transmission fluid... Is this straight forward just drain and refill or do you need to flush a manual transmission?? Any help would be great.

A lot of things I've read is that you really don't ever need to change the fluid in a manual. I had 168k on my fox body and it shifted just as smooth as when it had 70k when I got it.

Car looks good though!

Looks great Voltage! Yup indeed, I dig the FRs on your stang.

Here's a copy of the TR3650 service manual...
Tremec TR-3650 Service Manual

I think they've updated the type and amount of fluid you should use for these tranny's. I used Mobile 1 ATF in mine.

I know this is from Wikipedia, but I think this info is accurate...
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tremec_...0_transmission

You can refill from the side, but you can also refill by removing the shifter on top. You would probably need to get a little hand pump to pump the fluid it, if you choose to side fill.

Thanks. And even if that I'd true I figure, might as well it's not like it's outrageously expensive.

Thanks. Yeah they are definitely better than the old wheels... And thanks for the info... I may just buy a short throw shifter and then I will just change the fluid the day I put it in I guess.... Your wheels are going to be sweet by the way... When you getting them put on.?

Thanks! Possibly Friday the 15th. It kinda depends on the weather and our funds Lol. I'm going with BFGoodrich g-force sport comp 2's. I was gonna pickup KDW's but they are just out of range for me. Well, originally I wanted Michelin's, but they are high-dollar. I bought some black lug nuts from AM for these wheels and they should arrive before the end of the week.

Very nice... I'm excited to see them on. Hopefully your weather stays good. Ours is finally getting warmer but still not as warm as it is supposed to be..

You gotta measure it out. It takes 3L or 3.17 quarts.

I'd put a quart of Lucas Transmission Fix and 2.17 quarts of Mobile 1 synthetic ATF if I was having some synchro issues. Used to be you would fill it up until it just start coming out the side fill hole. But Tremec changed the capacity in 2007 or so to 3L. I believe this is just a little less than when it starts coming out the fill hole.

*Edit*

I think a bottle is 300ML. So probably something like 2.85 quarts along with the Lucas tranny fix.

Lucas Transmission Fix

I've seen some dudes talking about using this on the mach1registry.org forum.

ATF = automatic transmission fluid = Mercon V

All the manual tranny's use auto tranny fluid these days.
