How did you deal with the lug nuts? Because when I started to tighten them down the plasti dip inside twisted and peeled.

I still like the chrome on them. I was talking about when i went to tighten the lugs down they peeled the plasti dip.

Its meant to be temporary anyway, if i ever do this again i'll paint them.

Oop, I see what you mean. I actually bought this when I bought my nuts too...

http://www.americanmuscle.com/power-...rce=igodigital

I was thinking that being 17x9 the wrench could possibly run the wheel. I was pleasantly surprised by this when I got it too. It is pretty good quality.

Yea you can't see it on mine either unless you look super up close... I'm just afraid the tearing is going to spread and then the entire project will be garbage.

That's a 2011 or 2012; they have grabber blue stripes. I like the sonic blue stripes on mine except for the back... it looks a mess with the 2 horizontal black panels.

Today I got a chance to pull her out of the garage -- where I had spent a rainy weekend detailing her. I think I will celebrate this result with a nice glass of wine (or two)!

Thanks Azure! I have a big cruise-in on Saturday and the weather forecast looks great, so she's back in the garage for now - away from bird sh*t and rain.

I don't think I've ever noticed the black panel before you pointed that out. That does kind of suck they did that. Still a fantastic car though lol

Tinted the tails, turn signals, and 3rd brake light with tint from AM. Super easy to do and they aren't too dark which I like. Kind of forgot about the 2 side marker lights on the rear, think I might just tint them with some plasti dip and save the $20 for the tint lol

First we scuffed em and took off all the dirt and grime, then we hit it with primer, then rustoleum paint and tomorrow going to hit it with krylon gloss
