Got my Mustang impounded for seven days for excessive speeding )(*&^%$#!@#$%^&
I wasn't even going that fast , just ran into a bad cop , while I was passing a BMW M3 , oh well lesson well learned .
Not a good day , I will drown my sorrows with some beer lol.... my radar didn't go off
so I think the cop scamed me he took a visual reading , i will fight the ticket in court me thinks , I should have asked him for a speed reading , oh well hindsight is 20/20 . I will have her back next week .

here are the laws in Canada , province of British Columbia

Fines —The faster you drive, the higher the fine
•Exceeding the driving limit by more than 40 km/h— $368 fine plus the driver will receive three penalty points on his or her driving record.
•Exceeding the driving limit by more than 60 km/h — $483 fine plus the driver will receive three penalty points on his or her driving record.

Impoundment of the Vehicle

Excessive speeding will also result in the immediate impoundment of the vehicle you are driving and costs:
•seven days for a first offence plus towing and storage costs – at least $210
•30-days for a second offence within a two-year period plus towing and storage costs – approximately $700
•60 days for any subsequent offences within two years plus towing and storage costs – over $1200
I would be in the 60km 483 range #$%^& b.s

Well since you said her I'm assuming it was a female cop and that makes a lot of sense because female cops always seem like they have to prove something.

Yeah I was talking about my Mustang , I'll get " her " back next week , and the cop was a guy , I told him at least give me a regular speeding ticket not a eccessive speeding ticket , but he wouldn't listen , I told him I haven't got a speeding ticket in over 10 years , still he wouldn't listen #$%^&*((*&
oh well , never got a ticket because I always had a radar detector in my cars
I guess sooner or later your going to get one , the eccessive speeding is a new law and it sucks , a regular speeding ticket costs much less 180 , and they don't in pound your car.

Yeah that sucks. I have never gotten a speeding ticket, I should of a few times but the cops that I passed must of not been paying attention.. But I told myself if I get a speeding ticket I will have to sell my car, because I'm already paying $200 a month for insurance and I could not handle paying more if I got sed ticket..

The fuse is easy to check, just look in the owners manual to find out which fuse in the panel it is and pull it to see if it's blown

Thanks. I feel the chrome was too much, and the plasti dip almost makes the intake look OEM.
