Not a fan of chrome under the hood on the SN95's, but that's some nice work!

That's how I felt watching her go in for her first oil change, I almost cringed when I saw that 17 year old kid climb into my car. I tried not to be cool but my eyes were burning right thru him

Well luckily for me it was an older guy that actually owned a gt500 sitting in the parking lot, let me sit in it and start it up while he did my alignment. needless to say I was quite happy. I told him he could have mine and I'll just take his lol.

Was hugely dissapointed, bought a hood decal for my car from americsnmuslce and wow, followed the directions but it started to stretch the vinyl and looked horriable, 30$ wasted ..

On my way to Yosemite ( not in my mustang). But had to park my baby in front of my boyfriends ex wife's house for two long nights and three tortuous days. It's only been an hour and I'm already dying. To make myself feel better I ordered a chrome center council and a chrome knob for my windshield wiper. I'm going to be more excited coming home than I am leaving!

I'll be honest, I'm not feeling them. :/
I guess I should have gone with another set of areocatch flush mount hood pins like I had on my last hood. I just wanted to try something different. Oh well...

Meh. I mean they look okay. But...
I'm still in love with how the areocatch flush mount hood pins looked. I know there's no way around it, but your brave drilling into that CF.

Those aerocatch ones were awesome, but these aren't bad at all. Do you think it's because the hood is dark?

No fear. Plus I hate how this hood lines up with the car. I will be replacing this hood in the future with an identical one that actually lines up to the fenders. I'll do a set of flush mounts on the new hood.

They just aren't as cool as I imagined. I wanted it to look a little more rugged because I beat this car up around the drift track. but its a fail. On the brighter side at least I can top 130mph (on the track) without worrying about the hood getting torn off.

I think these would look better on my S13.

See the big gaps? It's like that on both sides.

But I guess that's what I get for buying a hood at half price on eBay.

I'm detailing my car for the AM show on Sunday.

I washed it, clayed it, and now I'm correcting the defects with my GG-6 DA buffer using the Meguiars DA MF system. Got a long way to go.

Then I'm going to seal it with Ultima Paint Guard Plus. May top off with Colonite 845 wax.

Learned my tricks from AutoGeek.

Luckily my car was very well cared for by previous owner & us. Has no dents and only minor scratches, more swirl marks than scratches. Black is unrelenting when it comes to showing defects.

I'm on that forum too...cause I don't know jack squizzel about buffing, etc. I'm too chicken to try it.
