Detailed her up and went to and worked the Fun Ford Day at Maple Grove Dragway with my club, the Berks County Mustang Car Club. Saw a lot of beautiful Mustangs from all eras.

Watched the Team Cobra-Jets race. They are well matched Factory race cars. 2 raced today and ran 8.31 & 8.318. Also saw a Jet Car go about 5.26 & 289mph.

Had my car judged along with others by a MCA Judge. He told me I need to fill in the nicks on my front bumper and detail my engine bay better. So I will be getting on that. I've had the DR Colorchip kit for awhile, just never did it. Now it's time.

There sure are some sweet Stangs out there. There seems to be a trend towards going very low with Boss 302 type splitters.

We parked the Mustangs by year and or specialty. There sure is some money floating around. Today was the slower day of the show, about 120 cars. Tomorrow there should be 300. There were about 15 Shelby's and 6-7 Boss 302's including 1 Laguna Seca. That's conservatively about $8-900,000 worth of cars just there. That's not counting the value of 2 vintage Shelby Gt-350's, a GT-500, a 500KR, (2) Susper Snakes, and a super cherry 70 Boss 302. So well over a million.

I can't imagine the value at the American Muscle Show or Mustang Week @ Myrtle Beach.

I got my car all cleaned up and headed down to the Woodward dream cruise with the family. Nothing like it on earth, plenty of mustangs of all eras, whatever your flavor. It's something everyone who is into cars must attend once in their life! There was one sad sight though a brand new GT hit a tree while loosing control attempting to do a burn out, no one was hurt thankfully, but the car was toast! The car still had the temporary plate taped in the window, guess he needed a little more practice with his new toy. Hope everyone had a great Saturday!

Took her to the store to buy detailing supplies including a few mitts, towels, metal polish for the wheels and exhaust tips, a clay bar kit and Turtle Wax's Black Box set. My girl is getting all dolled up. And, after a dozen years, it's much needed.

Oh, and I looked into getting some dome center caps for my factory Bullitt rims. Haven't pulled the trigger yet, though.

Yeah I 100% agree with you, buy you a cheap truck or something for a work car, that why if something happens like that again it won't be the stang

Man, I wanted a charcoal gray one or deep blue so bad, but I couldn't find any cheap enough in my area so I settled with black w/ gray stripes. I didn't like the stripes at first but they've grown on me.

Greenbean: looks like a BBK x pipe? I have had one for about 2 years and I love it. I have read many negative things about them in the past as to their overall sound quality and I have had no issues. My car sounds great with it teamed up to a set of magnapacks. Just thought I would throw that out there since like I said I've seen reviews where other people said they didn't like the BBK x pipe etc.

Well that is reassuring. It is the off road x. Cant wait to get home to get it on. Right after i ordered it i read some negative reviews so i was a little skeptical. Should sound nice with my borla stingers.

Yeah it will sound great with the borla stingers. Most of the negative comments were guys who were using a chambered muffler with it, not all but most. It probably doesn't sound that great with a chambered muffler as an x pipe is really best paired with a straight thru muffler. If you go on American muscle you can view reviews on it and most are favorable from people who have recently purchased this part. I bought mine off Craigslist as it was used only for around 100 miles and the guy said it was too loud with his convertible with side pipes. So far it was one of the best $100 bucks I have spent so far, actually even sounded good with my stock mufflers. I did get some LM1'a welded in with it a while back and it sounded bad, I changed them to the magnapacks within a couple weeks and now im truly satisfied with it. With the stinger, magnapack or possibly even a LM2 muffler it has a deep rumble and scream when opened up. Drone isn't too bad at cruising speeds, loud up to 50 then calms down, then again around 65-70 then calms down a bit once up to speed. You will like it. If I could do it again I would probably do the same thing as its a good price and BBK always seems to make good products. Hope this helps you to be confident with your new mod.
