I was having a nice drive down the Blue Ridge Parkway, then I clipped a deer. Now luckily it wasn't too bad because I just hit the foot, but it still really sucks.

I was bedding in my new brakes and was only doing about 10mph and saw two on the side of the road, tapped the break to slow down more and I was like I'm good... Last minute one runs out in front, I slammed on breaks and I seriously missed him by about 6". scared the crap out of me!

I think that if I had gotten on the brakes just a split second sooner I would have missed it. I just caught it's hind leg in full sprint.

well I had my foot ready just in case, still scared me haha and I even knew it would possibly be coming. that's unfortunate, I'm pretty sure I just missed it, I came to a complete stop and away he went

Removed the Superchip that came with our 96 SVT Cobra. I want to see how the factory tune performs. Then install the BAMA 93 Octane Race tune.
Need to decide if the SUPERCHIP is worth selling.

Lol. Holy crud!! Your engine needs a bath now that CAI is the shiniest thing under the hood! I always blast my motor off at the car wash. Use some degreaser and head on over. Leave it running tho and don't soak it try and avoid direct spray on the distributor.

Ok so this happened to me in my stang today! I am still a little irritated about it! I went into CVS to get some index cards...i use a lot of em for school lol and I came out and see this POS ricer pulling into the spot next to my car...and I start to approach my car and this dbag is so close to my drivers door that I couldn't even open it if I tried! He had his windows slightly down and was still in his car and I looked at him and said can you move your car?!?! I said I can't even get my door open ya dbag..lol.. .so he slowly backed up and then sped out of the parking lot thinking his POS ricer was bad ***...it looked like it was about to fall to pieces...I am glad I seen him when I did or maybe his passenger might have whacked the **** out of my drivers side door if they got out!!! DUMBASSES!
|
Way to stand up for your Stang!! If no one was there I woulda kicked the door and drove off smiling.

Screen pulled out real easy as well. Heard that was a b, but just pulled it out with finger. Wasn't paying attention don't know if put back in same way. Can it be put in upside down? I think I put mine back in with prongs up. Also sprayed maf with maf cleaner. Had to take intake apart, one of screws on maf is stripped so couldn't just pull it straight out. Then put in a new air filter. Ill need to change these much more frequently they seem to get dirty real quick. Probably because no inner fender wells and resonator is probably removed, I can see right in through my wheel well. Wishful thinking this would get rid of the bucking/spitting issue under load but no ahh ahh. Seat of pants runs cleaner but gave small amount of gas and still spitting so didn't push it. Hesitant on fuel injection cleaners but maybe ill put some in next tank. Dumb question... is there a size stamped on tb or maf so I can see if they match and I might not have right size maf?

While back askes mechanic about timing...said was ok. Should have checked again. I just recently replaced cap and rotor, also 1 wire that was arcing from touching header getting burnt. Others aren't that old. Actually had to swap that wire, 3rd bay, with the coil plug with 90degree boots so doesn't touch header. I don't have any of those spacer things on wires, so some touch each other. Heard that's not good either.
