I retract this statement lol, you got those 6 pistons for a steal but from another boss owner to you...

"I've thought about it and was tracking a new set on ebay this past week. After talking to someone who knows a lot more about brakes than me I've decided to pass. There's probably some added cooling benefit to the larger rotors but I'm not sure if the stopping power will be much if any different than the stock Brembos. I think the limiting factor with our cars is the rubber and not the stopping power from the stock Brembos used with race pads."

Also the 6p are heavier than the 4p :/ and are more restrictive in wheel options as well

It's a lot heavier. Lost about 1.5m/gal on my per fill-up tracking. But looks very cool. I can live with the lost mpg😄.

You know when they work on your car they test drive it right? So when you find that empty bag of chips and dark oiled fingerprints in your car...youll know...

At least you don't have to go back and get a spare key.

That is true, how much are they? I think my dealer said $350. Not sure though.

My walmart sells a key for my car for $60, but I would still have to get it programed by the dealer because i only have one key, i know for my 04 if you dont have 2 keys you cant program another spare yourself.

I really don't like the dealer that we got the GT from. They are trying to rip us off on the Exhaust install. Said $180 and about 2 hours. Granted that my parents said that it's an exhaust system, so maybe the dealer thinks it's a catback. Axleback exhaust should be less time, and money out of the pocket. I could also go into several other things, well, at least out salesman was nice.

I know they are trying to take way more than they should(or deserve) and my dad thinks that's cheap...

When we get there, I'm gonna see if I can get it lower, because the way my parents worded it, they probably think we are gonna replace the entire exhaust.

Good luck!! Although I will say that $180 does sound like an entire exhaust system, we paid $130 for my 2.3 exhaust

I sacked up and installed it myself. It's an axle back, not a set of cams lol

It was free because they lost the original spare when I bought the car. Why don't you show your dad a YouTube video on how easy it is to install your mufflers. I did mine in my driveway, so easy.

I want to do the install, and my mom wants me to do it, but my dad doesn't want to work on it in the driveway. Idk why?

I know it's easy, I really don't know why he won't let me do the install in the driveway.

I'd say that when we show up, and they find out it's just an Axleback, price should be around 100.

Yeah once they start working on your car it'll take them no time.

I just saw a video for an install, extremely easy. My dad said that he doesn't want to put it on jacks and work on it in the driveway, I'll show him a video though.

You'll be done before he can even notice you started working on it. If you're worth your salt with some hand tools. Make sure you properly torque everything after you're done aligning the exhaust tips.
