What did you do with your Mustang today
Nice my impala has 2.5 inch, no mid pipe, mid mounted super 44s, original exhaust manifolds. I like the sound, but maybe see what super 40s sound like. My exhaust supplier sent me two super 40s instead of 44s, so I might give them a try...
It's had 40 series and hushpower flowmasters, hushpowers were a mistake...
Plus, I've never heard super 40s on a car before, and I kinda want to know what they sound like...

Changed her fluids.. oil, tranny, and rear end. Also changed fuel filter... and added Fang Performance serial number to bumper (a la Saleen!)

Cleaned and shined her up real good, took some pics, and then went for a drive.

Can't wait until I get rid of those stock rollerskates...

Yep, it's going to look good, when finish. And possibly lowering it, it would look even better...

Definitely going to be better than the stock wheels... There's just something really wonky about them. And yeah, I'll probably lower it too once I see how much gap I'm left with.

1970 was the year for the first Twister Specials... mine is a one off "tribute" done by Fang Performance in March 2007. R&A Motorsports did a limited production during 2008(?). Those Twisters' are included in the Twister registry... mine isn't
But I love it anyways!

Had to take my bumper cover off to re-do my halo lights wiring. The quick splice connectors didn't last very long. Soldered all the connections this time...

A little closer now to swapping out the rear for this one narrowed 1"per side. Splashed on a few coats of satin black roll bar and chassis paint. Clearly not powder coat but it gets the job done.

Slowed down the sequential tails on my new edge by soldering a 1uf capacitor in the relay. Looks a lot better (both on the stang and in my wallet.)
Word of advice to anyone who does this in the future: don't bother trying to get the relay out of the yellow casing using a tiny screwdriver and a pair of needlenose. It'll only give you a headache... Instead stick the very bottom of the yellow casing into a vice and slowly squeeze each side enough to pull it out with the needlenose. Worked like a charm for me.
