Aluminum expansion tank for my Mustang.

Now fighting with them to get a refund on a cancelled order figured out. They refunded me twice on the order... Then billed me twice again. So they still owe me the refund. Getting the run around and playing phone tag isn't fun.

Took her to work, finally after 3 weeks of constant rain. Now she's put up until I get a call from Ford about the stupid airbags...

what I did yesterday and today.

Yesterday I put some VDO TPMS sensors in my 18X10" AMR wheels with 2 285/40/18 Nitto 555R drag radials. Today I installed the SR Performance stainless steel braided clutch line. and damn is my back and knees killing me.

Tomorrow I am going to the drag strip for the first time this season, looking for that 11 second slip!

Finally upgraded my throttle body and plenum. SVE 75mm throttle body and plenum combo from late model restoration.

Re jetted my glorious carburetor with some leaner jets, replaced my cracked radiator with one I picked out of a 4.6L Thunderbird at the junk yard, put some black trim around the hole that I had to cut for my glorious carburetor to protrude through in my hood. Then I took it for a drive to keep an eye on my water temps and finish breaking in my new clutch that I put in last week.

The only thing I haven't replaced, removed, installed, or modified on this car is the suspension, diff, and steering rack.

I just put a set of new wheels and tires a few days ago. GT500 with NT555 255/45/18 and 285/40/18
This afternoon I installed a set of Eibach Pro springs on the rear only so far in this picture.
Will do the fronts soon.

Eric

What did you do with your Mustang today

Brought it to work today. Had a pleasant experience coming back to the shop from lunch. Then rushed it to neighbors garage, an hour later, because a threat of hail.

Drove it to campus to hang out with friends, and drove back. 40 minutes each way.

It's been ridiculous. Rain for the past four weeks, 3 days without rain out of 30. There's been tornado warnings, flash flood warnings, wind gust alerts, hail alerts, serve thunderstorm warnings, and just plain ole rain. It's getting old real fast. I'm to the point the Roush isn't coming out unless there's 0% all day. Man, I love Kentucky weather...

It's a 427R, so yes it is supercharged and it's spectacular!

Looked at it in the garage, while thinking, "you're gonna come out to play tomorrow."
Is just me or did that sound naughty...

I had blacked out everything. Today, I decided to take the GT emblem back to chrome. Now it adds a little touch of chrome with the exhaust tips and wheel centers. I'm liking it a lot.Click image for larger version

Eh, this '99 seems to end up in the shop every 3 or 4 months for something. Lots of problems. And like natestang said, I found a sweet 2007 Roush 427R that I have pretty much fallen in love with.

Even with the problems with my '99, I love it to death and I'm going to miss it a lot so it hurts to sell it. I still miss my '95 GT even though it was much slower. There's just something about Mustangs, they're so much more than just a car.

Right now it's running stronger than ever, and I have a feeling that all issues are fixed but I still just kind of want to upgrade. It's an old car. A P.I. 2v with bolt-ons and a tune can't hang anymore in 2015 outside of toying with the ricers and barely walking away from the old 90's Cobras... or losing by a nose to an LS1 Camaro.

Will miss the '99, but looking forward to my next Mustang... hopefully this supercharged beauty right here with 15k miles:
