Looks sweet. Please take the autonation sticker off there! Did they pay you to advertise for them? Did they take a few thousand off the price of the car? Guessing no. If you haven't noticed dealer stickers and emblems grind my gears.

Man, you should see the ones for the local dealerships. S****y metal that oxidizes green atrociously...at least I think. It looks awful either way. I'll get a picture of the one on my friend's car

F that. I told the dealer if I found a sticker on the car I would be leaving in my old vehicle.

I don't even let them put the license plate frames on. They asked me if they could and I told them for 500 off the car I would put them on for a month. Conversation over. Lol. Needless to say I didn't get 500 extra off the car.

Lol I'm glad the dealer I got my car from didn't bother putting any sort of decal on it

It was such a stupid way to scrape it up, too. I was pulling up to the gas pump and wham. I usually go to the further of the two pumps, just to straighten out easier, but there was someone there today, so I though I'd just try to hook it

Sounds like a good reason to find a 99/01 Cobra bumper. I would it go with the one you posted above (can't quote it for some reason) I'm sure it will fit like absolute **** just based off the price alone.

Figures. And I was looking at the Cobra bumpers, and I'm not sure if I like the look of them. I might just spend the $210 (~197 w/discount) on another V6 bumper. Any idea what the cost would be to have it painted and mounted?

Before buying a new one I'd check out craigslist to see if there are any cars being parted out that have a good bumper. While it's out I would recommend getting that headlight panel replaced. In all honesty removing the front bumper yourself is quite simple and would help save some time on labpr costs. As far as a paint quote I would call around. There's a body shop down by me that I don't have a problem recommending if you'd like their number.

Oxford5pointoh - thank you for answering that. I was just about to ask you. I feel the same way. I hate those things. No free advertising here. Treat it like Nascar small fee for little stickers large ones and in good view large fee, lol.

Exactly. No offense to anyone when I say this, but I laugh when I see a nice car that has been modded and has a dealer sticker on it. It's like look at me spending all this money because I actually care about my ride and what it looks like but you missed the easiest, cheapest mod there is to help the looks.

I'm with you on that - kills me when I see that. Dealer stickers came off every car I've ever owned the day they came home. Told them if they drilled my bumper for front plate (not required in LA) I wouldn't take the car.

I think I'll see if I can get anywhere nearby first. If it comes to it though, I'll be calling them. What do you think of this bumper? I figured it being painted may save on some costs.
2001 Ford Mustang Painted Front Bumper - ReveMoto.com

Also, is there any actual difference in the V6 and GT bumper other than the absence of the little metal prongs in the fog light wells?

I've never heard of them so it's hard for me to say. Are there any online reviews?
The fog lights are the only difference.

The fog lights are the only difference.
There are some Yelp reviews, but they seem to be situated in Texas. Either way, I had Fort Collins Collision Repair write me up a quote to repair my front bumper and the broken frame. They said it would total up to around nine hundred. I think I'll just slap some more touch-up paint on it, get it put back on properly and call it a day.
