Drove through some flooded roads and inverted my Roush chin splitter - tore out the center mounts from the front fascia and destroyed the splash guard. Looks real nice now being held up by zip ties...

Haha, I see what u did there. Glad to see my misery is a source of entertainment lol.
Oh well, I have to laugh too.
Especially since I just put that sucker on after hitting a truck tire casing on the interstate and destroying the stock piece.

What color you dipping?

BTW I've found it useful to pull hood and side scoops along with spoiler. It likes to bridge a few spots.

Also, check your trunk keyhole before continuing. I've missed cleaning 2 of them thorough enough and had to peel and redo.

You'll need to razor under the mirrors and the weatherstripping on front and rear windows, it bridges there. A hot knife is best but a lighter and razor gets the job done.

Why not just drive it? I do 40 miles on drag setup every time. Bias plies are fun at highway speeds

Grill was looking a little dirty so I used Meguiars back to black on it and the rest of the plastic trim on outside of car. You can see how dirty it was in this pic with some that I cleaned.

Finished all the trim. Every thing looks 100% better. I cleaned up all the water spots around the grill with some quick detailer after I took this picture, so don't worry.

this one's going copper, its looking nice. I pulled the spoiler before i started, the scoop is part of the design though so it stays on. A couple setbacks unfortunately but i hope to be assembling in a few days. Is getting a naptha bath tomorrow and i get to redo some, ive got a happy accident going though so it's ok.

we've had some warmer weather this week it will be nice to get it out of the shop and me out of the tacoma for a bit.

Haha, only had the parts sitting around for four months.

Not like my LCA's which are approaching a year. They're on the docket for tomorrow. It's amazing what a paid week off and an impact wrench can do.

A few months back I sold my 2007 GT and bought a project car. It's a 1970 Fastback. The car looked good but it was in rough shape. The whole wiring harness was garbage so we pulled it and replaced it with a new modern style harness. Below is a video is the first start up and idle adjustment.

What did you do with your Mustang today

Day late but tried the Dupli-Color Custom Wrap in Carbon Black Matte, thought it wouldn't work so I only dusted the hood off then sprayed it with one can and when all said and done it looks nice so now I'm going to wash the whole car down and do the whole thing and if it doesn't look good I'll peal it off and go right to a Vinyl wrap, here is how the hood looks with no prep work.

Today I installed a 1800 watt amp and two 12" subs behind the back seat using a piece of 1/2" plywood bolted to the back seat support, worked out well and tomorrow it gets the radio installed.
