Front half of the air lift kit in and swapped out away bars while I was in there.

Rear and rear sway bar left.

That was 4 hours of work. Not looking forward to the other half.

Just a little more work on the air lift. Figured I'd post a picture of the tire well. Have to wire loom a couple wires and mount the relay. Then tie up what's left.

Have both the front lines ran to the front and the controller to the locking part of the console. Been looking at other locations including the dome light housing, but will require some cutting and such so that will come later.

Now I'm ready to tackle the front struts and connect them and then the rear and connect them since they are in the back. No more disassembling the cabin area for now.

FYI... The loop is until I grab an air coupler with a male connection. Only had female and one plug so I couldn't very well leave it open so I made a loop for a temporary fix.

Looking good! I did a tire well install as well.

Thanks. Been a long road but I'm getting it.

Thought about a second compressor. Have the room for it and since I'm using a 2.5 gallon tank it would fill faster. Only down fall will be two compressors being a bit louder.

I put my tank near the rear so I could keep my jack and lug nut wrench etc. that way I can remove the tire and patch it if necessary.

Picked my girls up from school, and then watched as the car was soaked by some much needed rain.

Finished up my Air Lift install... hope I never have to get that in depth in the suspension again.

Normally they have about 200 cars but the rain forecast severely hurt the attendance. They had trophies for the top 100 cars so it felt like a sports participation award :p

Did meet some nice people and was the only one there with air suspension. Lots of heads turned when I aired out and same later when I showed a few people the rise.

I'd rather had less trophies. Feels like a stupid participation trophy and is basically meaningless. I'd like to know I fully earned it.

Took a trip up to flagstaff for lunch and stopped in Sedona on the way. We took the 89A which is the scenic route. It was a great drive, especially the way back down the mountain.

I got behind the wheel and drove her for the first time in over a month. Nothing like back surgery to take you out of the game.

Yes it did. I just removed it for the Air Lift components.

(quick interruption: should I keep my spare in, or would i save any $ on gas by taking it out?
or would it be too bouncy w/ no spare?
just wondering)

In theory you should save on gas $ but it's gonna be small enough to be difficult to calculate. It will save some weight in the rear. That being said, it will effect winter driving possibly too.

I'm not sure about the bouncy issue since the air lift have adjustable dampers to dial in that issue due to no springs etc.

I will probably be making or getting a small tire cover and mounting the spare to the trunk floor cover. Or some other option.

Some mustangs come with spares and some without so I'm doubtful they have two different spring/shock combos for each.

I don't plan on driving without one much... not worth the weight saving when it comes to a flat and a time crunch.

Don't blame you. The famhauler came with run flats. Soon as it was time to get new tires. Bye-bye run flats hello full spare. Yeah it is killing my trunk space, but the awd Sienna don't have room for the spare under the van in the 2nd row.

Benefit I have is... i drive less than 5 miles each way to work. So if I don't have a spare on the way home no biggie... bad thing is going to work at 4am lol

Located the clunking noise I was hearing when hitting bumps mostly at slow speeds. I got underneath before work today and started grabbing stuff and shaking hoping to replicate some noise. When I got to the Panhard bar I found the source and noticed that I was able to move it front to back. Checked the bolt and sure enough it was loose. Rechecked both bolts just to be sure. Not sure how it was loose, I hope I wasn't dumb enough to never have tightened it down properly after installing it. Car doesn't sound like a 50 year old clunker any more when going over bumps.

Replaced the slide pins, dust boots, pad shims, greased everything and anti-siezed everything that moved on the right front brake. Sumbich still makes a terrible squeak when I press the brake pedal. Guess its the caliper pistons. That will be next. Sounds like rusty bed springs on only that one wheel whenever I press and release the brake pedal.
