Take the dip of the hood scoop. It doesn't look right just itself dipped. I did mine on my v6 like this

Yea leaving the hood scoop done by itself just looks like a unpainted part. But do yours like venomous did or just plasti dip the part in his picture that he left red in front of the scoop.

Finally got my white face reverse glow gauges in from AM. I swear it was harder than when I put in my stereo.

Thanks guys. I still got a little playing with it to do, a couple of the gauges are stuck. If I can fix those I will be much happier.

The tach, speedo and oil pressure gauge all work fine. The gas gauge only goes to a little past half and the engine temp and volt gauge don't move at all. So the important ones work.

Back your needles off a little. Mine were a little too tight when I put my gauges on

Just drove from Utah to Alpine Wyoming, drove up a 13mile dirt road (Some Mustang off road, everyone kept looking at me funny.....)stayed there for 3 days. then I drove from Alpine Wyoming, to Sun Valley Idaho and gave her a washing, it was needing it badly. And the roads were a blast.
