They are vinyl, but the people who had my car before me had a vinyl place put them on so I'm not sure how hard it would be.. I think if you got someone to help you it would not be to hard.

Nice! I didn't realize how deep that HE was. Do you have to keep it lower than the radiator so heat not removed doesn't pass on hotter air through the radiator?

It sits right in front of radiator near the bottom.

I am mounting it in the same location where the Cobra HE is mounted.

Good point about the hot air passing, we'll see what the impact is.

So I figured out the CEL it is code p0171 system too lean bank 1. A couple things could cause this, a vacuum hose leak, a dirty MAF, or a failing o2 sensor. This would make sense because my gas mileage is horrible

I seriously doubt it. This code is a long term rich code. Are you custom tuned? The system throws 0171 and 0172 codes when the fuel trim is too rich for too long. U had issues with it untill I had a new leaner tune written and now i dont get it anymore. The system isn't actually running rich. The fuel trim is just constantly trimming more than 10+- percent of the fuel delivery.

I haven't put any tunes on it, I don't know if a previous owner did or not. The mpg dropped at the same time that the code came up. It was at 19 mpg before the CEL and I'm estimating a 14-15 mpg after.

Cool we can meet at EpiCentre next week or something. We have the race this weekend at CMS. Plus SC plays LSU Saturday night as well.

I'm kinda playing this weekend by ear.

For those not in Charlotte here's EC:

At a light, on my phone :shame: turned green oops. So I look back to see if the driver behind me is mad, of course the lady is moving her hand like come on move it. So I slow outta the light break :evilgrim: then stab the go go button. Chirp some 2nd, and almost rear end a driver who decided to slow down then turn, there is a cut in the road to stop and wait to turn for a reason, so then I punch it again, I heard an engine next to me so I mash through 4th. So slow down, red light. So I see a tsx pass me when I was slowing down to turn, light was green by the time I slowed down. =}„ that made me smile still smiling =}„ goes to show rice buckets with/out lbs are still rice buckets €>]

Ja, those sure are funny moments. I got to say to this day I have never had anyone pull up next to me wanting to race. Except a friend but it was kinda planned.
