Still working on her. Getting it ready for a new paint job, carpet, center.console, interior trim around the radio and doors, rear bumper (diesel truck backed into me twice and ran), sending my rims off to be re-chromed. That's the main things. Lol.

I can get a 4v out of a 96 mark 8 right now for all the spare parts I have layin around, I just thought the heads on them models was trash?

Nope. They're not the best heads but they take to a port and polish awesome and support fi great when pared with the right drive train. And that is a teskid block. So ur set lol. Find a mach intake manifold tho.

Took off the ol N2O kit last night. Ran into a few snags but we are all good. The previous owner had a 52 nitrous and a 31 fuel jets, Dayum.

Changed the oil. And for some reason today when I started my car, it started right up. But for sum reason it acted like the battery was unhooked. All the gauges maxed out the went back down, and my radio reset all its settings. Any ideas as to why?????

Mine does the gauge swing about 3 out of 10 times. I haven't had radio reset, though. I think my gauge swing is something with the tune.

Weird. I noticed the gauge thing a few days ago but the radio did not reset. It was especially cold last night so I wonder if It had something to do with that...

I recently had to replace my battery with a cheapo. It is odd that your car started up - if it's the battery.

That's what I was thinking. It did not turn slow or hesitate at all, it just started right up.

Do you have an aftermarket radio in your ride?

Kind of a long shot, but maybe an inline fuse is/was loose and removed power long enough for it to reset...?

Yeah possible I guess. But that would not explain the gauges. Unless that was just a coincidence.

Yeah, it was a pretty long shot, Lol. As for the gauges, only reason I think it's related to my tune was because it didn't do that until I got a tuner a few months ago. It seems to be harmless, but is very curious.
