Need a burping method, I have a fabbed temp gauge in my cross over pipe, no way to take it out unless do some more fabrication. Thought about leaving my res tank cap open till she heats up, (99 Cobra)

Yeah the winter rubber is going on today. It looks like we're gonna have a long ****ing winter. The city doesn't even have their ploughs ready yet so the roads are a fn mess. Littered with crashed eco boxes lol. My buddy at a tire shop said they are solid booked for the next 10 days and they have a line of people out the door hah.

I just pulled the upper radiator hose out slightly and added coolant to the reservoir until it filled to the top. Hope that helps.

Good idea. I was thinking could the cap be left open and turn her on? That way the pressure goes through there, watch her till she bubbles

Hahaha, she ain't much to look at but I drove her for 4 hrs straight and she ran perfectly. Can't ask for much more than that for $1000.

Went for a test drive after the reassembly, ran the temp up to 230° oh man. also ran at 220 till I reach a stop light then went down to 200, regular temp. Kept going back and forth till on the way home went down to 190°„ like a boss. Ad coolant light stayed on since I left the house. Waiting to get back home to top her off, she wasn't missing much when I checked right before leaving

---------- Post added at 07:03 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:01 PM ----------

And mashed the throttle 1st, wheel spin, granny shift went to high revs then mashed 2nd gear spin extra nice. Then down the road turned and repeated,, I've missed not diving her these passed 4 days

Made a critical mistake and drove the stang instead of the jeep.. I could not see 100 feet on front of me and did 25 the whole way to work. But at least there wasn't any on the road.
