Any of you guys have aftermarket coil packs? I'm thinking on going MSD.

I blacked out my pony emblem and tried something new with my faux gas cap. Thoughts?

Just a plastidip, so easy peasy strippers are sleazy.

As soon as I hit "submit" I knew I'd been huffing the glue. Way to freaking small.

Not a bad bike, mind you. Too small for me as I'm 6'4 and weigh 260lbs, but I have a buddy and he's a bunch smaller then me, rides a Ninja 500 also and with just him on it, the thing is ungodly quick off the line.

He tried my buddies Hayabusa; damn thing was so heavy he could hardly hold it and when he went into 2nd it almost threw him into a tree. Myself, I don't ride. Haven't in years and years, but even I'd be hesitant to throw myself on that particular Hayabusa.

Oh, my tiny buddy, he's running a Ducati 900 now.

That'd be like me using a Top Feul Dragster to get to work and back.

That one there is my roommates, it's alright but I personally don't like it. Too tall and not fat enough, but for riding around OU Campus going from class to class it does him alright. Hopefully sometime in the future I wanna get a Ninja 636R. Got a friend that works at AJAX Kawasaki in Oklahoma City and they have a matte white one with black accents. It looks friggin amazing. Another friend has a 636R with a custom paint job and matching helmet, extended swing arm and a few little odds and ends done to it. I want one stupidly bad..

If I ever get another bike, and that's a huge freaking IF, it'll be a Honda 250 that I can pick up for a couple hundred bucks and just beat to death. No love. No repairs, just run that thing into the ground.

Why? Because as cheap transport goes, a beater bike beats the best bull**** scooter.

If I were to buy another bike, and it was a sport bike, I'd go back to 2000 and buy a Gixxer. The GSX-R is one of the best looking, imho, sport bikes ever and can be had now, if you know the right people, for a steal (assuming it hasn't been bagged to hell).

Yeah, hard to keep mine clean driving 100 mi a day in jersey and outdoor parking at my condo don't help. Saving for a garage! Still wash once a week and keep her waxed helps a lot.

Idk, wasnt concerned about fuel economy. Helped with power and start up. Initial start up is a bit quicker now.

I added Ford Racing Sport 49 state axle backs today. As I knew camcorders do audio no justice, the difference is astounding. These are Borla Stingers made for Ford with ford logos on them, and a Borla hat in the Ford box. The server manager and the sales guys said they had not yet heard a sizer sound that that. In fact between 900-2600 rpm, it is deep, dark, and rumbling more than my 5.3L Chevy truck. Once over about 3500rpm they sound the same as stock but just a tad louder. Just what I wanted. No drone if you use cruise or egg lite foot petal. I always use the Air/Fuel gauge and when you want some drone or a nice rumble, just put a little more petal into it and your idle to cruise noise gets rumbly from 900-2600.
