Re: What Did You Do To Your Sixxer Today?

Hi all, Just got my all Alluminum 3 Core Radiator, Blue Radiator Hoses & Helix Throttle Body Spacer today. I'll be installing it all this weekend. I also picked up an 8.8 w/ 4.10's & T-Loc That will go in as soon as my new control arms & shocks come in. Few more MODS & then a Tune !!!

Isn't cutting springs dangerous?

Re: What Did You Do To Your Sixxer Today?

You can get a decent set for about $100 from DNA MOTORING on Ebay. I didn't like the 2" drop as you bottom out on everything.

---------- Post added at 08:44 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:36 PM ----------

Gonna be my 1st Rear End Install so I'll have to see how it goes before I write anything on it. I've done everything else by book but this looks fairly easy so not too worried.
I figured I may as well change to Tubular Upper & Lower Control & Install new Shocks while I got this all apart so I'm waiting on my order to git er dun'.

---------- Post added at 08:46 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:44 PM ----------

Thanks....Now to make it fast....REALLY FAST !!!

I like to take some corners quickly and I hate getting loose.
I'm thinking I could pick up 3 cans of grabber blue engine enamel
2 for calipers while I work on the springs, and 1 for these springs.
Probably could have Midas do them or any auto shop since people always need shocks struts and springs when they give out.
Looks sick tho

Beast it up, it's already sexy

---------- Post added at 01:13 AM ---------- Previous post was at 01:10 AM ----------

I understand having the 2 extra cyl. And being able to slap a blower on and instantly make 350-400 rwhp. But then u gotta make it sexy again and with the money u spend on the gt buying and doing all that, you could've just blown ur sixxer or started a good engine build.
Just my opinion.

That little six can be built to out run cobras etc, ssm built a 3.8 and put it into 10 seconds on the 1/4 mile

---------- Post added at 01:36 AM ---------- Previous post was at 01:34 AM ----------

Okay then,
Drop zones
Or
DNA(once I get a review back for him.)
And Tokico blues(which should smooth out the ride and give even better handling.

Those DNA lowering springs are kids pulling me in.
1.75 all around isn't bad
